Job Description:
Structural and architectural steel for a 6 story, multi-phase pre-cast concrete project. The project includes structural embedments, structural steel connectors, architectural canopies, and a major ADA compliant railing package.
Challenge:
On a complex job like this one, the first challenge is to cost out and bid the job correctly: so our customer gets premium quality work at a value price, and so our company achieves a reasonable profit. Then after that comes the challenge of coordinating with the contractor, their delivery schedules, meeting their requirements, being on time and scheduling the various phases of the project and planning so we�re ready when they�re ready.
Solution:
As in all multi-phase, complex jobs, careful planning, coordination, and project management is vital to the success of the project.
